Feeling Blue Thinking of You Card

Happy Sunday!

Today's card was one I created for the Feeling Blue Challenge from Pile It On!
I chose to use various shades of blue to fit that theme.
This Challenge is sponsored by All Dressed Up
The card was created using the "Amore" Digital Image.

The digital image was colored with Copic Markers.

All of the layers of cardstock are from Close to my Heart.
The card base is Peacock cardstock.
The overlay is Carolina cardstock, distressed with Lagoon Exclusive Ink

I cut the overlay from the Cricut Cartridge Edge to Edge.
The Digital Image is layered with two pieces of Glacier cardstock
I just turned one to the lighter shade.
I distressed several layers of the cardstock with Glacier Exclusive In k from Close to my Heart.
Since the Digital Image had it's own sentiment, I didn't add an additional one, however to highlight it, I added two banner strips behind it.
The white banner strip is distressed with Glacier Exclusive ink.

For a little added bling, I added a few Silver Glitter Gems from Close to my Heart.

The inside of the card is a layer of White Daisy cardstock also distressed with Glacier Exclusive Ink.

I entered my card into the following challenges:

Adorable "Girly" Card

I Hope you all are having a pleasant Valentine's Day!
Today's card is featured over at the Creatalicious Challenge Blog.

Creatalicious Challenges are always anything goes but have an optional
theme, this time the theme is "girly".
This Challenge is sponsored by Colour of Love.

The card was created using the "Rory's Christmas Penguin" digital image from Color of Love.

I had so much fun creating this card, because penguins just make me happy.
The digital image was colored with Copic Markers.

All of the layers of cardstock are from my stash.

I distressed several layers of the cardstock with Sapphire Exclusives Ink from Close to my Heart.

The "Thankful" sentiment is from the retired October Stamp of the Month stamp set from Close to my Heart, stamped in Tuxedo Black Memento Ink.
I used 3-D Foam Tape, to pop the sentiment up.

For a little added bling, I added a few Silver Glitter Gems from Close to my Heart.

Beautiful Spring Card

I don't know about your neck of the woods, but here, it has been way too cold for my liking.
The last couple of nights it has been in the low 30's and during the day it hasn't been much better.
I need to see Spring soon.
For the holiday I stayed in and spent my day crafting, and whipped up this cute Spring themed card, in hopes it gets warmer soon.

The white card base is from Close to my Heart.
Then I distressed a layer of Sapphire cardstock with Sapphire ink.
Then added a distressed layer of Carolina cardstock with Sapphire ink.
Then I took a layer of Canary cardstock and distressed it with Saffron ink.
Then finally added a piece of distressed patterned paper from the Grateful Heart Paper Packet from the 2018 Holiday Expressions from Close to my Heart.

The adorable girl digital stamp is Peekaboo Butterfly from Digital Stamps 4 Joy.

I colored her in with water color pencils.

The "Just Because" sentiment is from the

It is stamped in Tuxedo Memento Ink on White Daisy cardstock.
I distressed it with Saffron ink and layered it on a piece of Carolina cardstock.

For my embellishments I added Gold Flecked Gems from Close to my Heart
and some White Mulberry Flowers from my stash.
I was able to add some color to them with Sapphire ink, Canary ink and Saffron ink.
They already had the cute little gems in the middle of them.

I entered my card into the following challenges:

Cute Little Fox Thank You Card Made With Cricut Design Space

I've always been a huge Cricut fan, and over time the types of projects I've created has vastly improved.

I've morphed from just a few shapes, page elements, titles, etc. to full blown scrapbooking layouts and cards.

Here is one of those cards:

Of course I did make a few modifications to the original Design Space File by Cricut from the exclusive
Close to my Heart Cartridge Artiste.

Here is my shared and modified version of the Design Space File.

The Close to my Heart cardstock colors I used were Almond, Toffee, Mint, White Daisy and Espresso.

The sentiment "Thanks" is from the January 2019 Stamp of the Month stamp set "Card Captions"
This stamp set is only $5 when you purchase $50 or more from my online store

I love that there is still space on the inside for a handwritten message.

I chose to embellish the inside top corner of the card with a few stamped images for some added flare.

The entire card is distressed with Toffee ink for some added dimension.

I submitted my card to the following challenges:

A Simple Get Well Soon Card

A dear friend of mine is in the hospital under less than ideal conditions.
I knew I wanted to make a card, but needed some inspiration.
I came across Color Challenge #326 on the Color My Heart Color Dare Challenge Blog.
The Challenge was to create a black and white card, with just a splash of color.

I ended up choosing Close to my Heart’s Thistle as my splash of color.

The sentiment “Get Well Soon” is from the January 2019 Stamp of the Month stamp set

The set is only $5 with any $50 purchase from my online store.
I used the little heart symbol to create a stamped background.

I distressed the inside of the card to give the stark white some dimension.

I distressed the inside and the edges of the layers with Tuxedo Black Memento Ink.
I also created a simple pattern on the left side of the card, by scoring three straight lines.

Thank you for stopping by!

Cute Card Featuring the January 2019 Stamp of the Month "Card Captions"

Here was a quick and cute card I made, to add to my card stash for later use...

Today's card features the color combination, Kraft, Bluebird, and Carolina.

The card base is Kraft paper.
Then I added a layer of Bluebird cardstock.
Then a layer of Carolina cardstock.

I stamped the Carolina with one of the larger hearts from the
Beautiful Soul Operation Smile stamp set.
While this set is now retired, its so versatile, I love using it.

I placed a distressed Bluebird circle for some dimension.

For my sentiment, I used "Just A Note" from the

With 26 stamps in the set, this is an awesome deal for
only $5 with a $50 purchase from my

Each layer was distressed with Tuxedo Black Memento Ink.

The inside of the card, is a piece of White Daisy cardstock, distressed with Tuxedo Black Memento Ink.
