Transportation Challenge Over at Pile It On!

Today's card is a square 4 1/2 x 4 1/2.
The card base is Kraft paper by Close to my Heart.

The layers are retired diagonal stripes, Glacier cardstock, Toffee cardstock, and Almond cardstock,  all from Close to my Heart.

The stack of suitcases digital stamp "Luggage" is from Dr. Digi's House of Stamps.
Since the theme is Transportation and/or Vacation, the luggage was perfect.

The sentiment is a sneak peek of an up and coming Stamp of the Month from Close to my Heart.
You will see several cards from me over the next few weeks using this one.

I distressed the edges of the paper and cardstock with Vintage Photo ink from Tim Holtz.

I also entered my card into the following challenges:

I hope you enjoyed my card, please feel free to contact me with any questions you may have.

Cute Little Fox Thank You Card Made With Cricut Design Space

I've always been a huge Cricut fan, and over time the types of projects I've created has vastly improved.

I've morphed from just a few shapes, page elements, titles, etc. to full blown scrapbooking layouts and cards.

Here is one of those cards:

Of course I did make a few modifications to the original Design Space File by Cricut from the exclusive
Close to my Heart Cartridge Artiste.

Here is my shared and modified version of the Design Space File.

The Close to my Heart cardstock colors I used were Almond, Toffee, Mint, White Daisy and Espresso.

The sentiment "Thanks" is from the January 2019 Stamp of the Month stamp set "Card Captions"
This stamp set is only $5 when you purchase $50 or more from my online store

I love that there is still space on the inside for a handwritten message.

I chose to embellish the inside top corner of the card with a few stamped images for some added flare.

The entire card is distressed with Toffee ink for some added dimension.

I submitted my card to the following challenges:

One Last Thank You Card For The Year!

I'm so excited with amount of layouts and cards I have been able to get accomplished the last few days.
Time, like many people, is something I struggle with.
I often look for great and easy sketches to work with, to give me inspiration and even motivation.
Today's card was inspired by #302 at CAS(E) This Sketch!

This creation uses the Grateful Heart Cardmaking stamp set.

With an awesome color combination of three main colors, Emerald, Mint, and Toffee.

My card base is made of Emerald cardstock.
I then layered a piece of Toffee cardstock.
I took two pieces of Oh What Fun Patterned Paper, layered them with Emerald cardstock and offset them on the card.
While the Oh What Fun Patterned Paper Packet is sold out, many of you may have purchased it.
It's so versatile and really can be used for more than Christmas photos.

I used the "Thank You" sentiment from the Grateful Heart Cardmaking stamp set as well.
I stamped the sentiment in Toffee on the strip of Mint cardstock.
Then mounted the sentiment on a piece of Emerald cardstock.

I distressed many of the edges of the layers with Toffee ink
I hope you enjoyed today's card, please let me know if you have any questions at all.

Vintage Butterfly Card...

This morning's card uses a combination of the digital image
Butterflies Are Free
by Pickled Potpourri

and Close to my Heart products.
I was going for a vintage look.
I love butterflies, and this image is simply beautiful.

The base of the card is White Daisy cardstock by Close to my Heart, I added a layer of Tangerine cardstock, then a piece of retired patterned paper from last fall's seasonal expressions.

The image is colored in with Copic markers, and distressed with both Toffee and Almond ink.

The sentiment "Missing You" is from the "Shell Sentiments" Stamp Set by Close to my Heart and distressed with Toffee ink.
Then mounted on a piece of tangerine cardstock as well.

I finished off the card with a few gold pearls as embellishments.

Disney's Up Themed Artist Trading Cards For An ATC Swap

So earlier this weekend, I signed up for an Artist Trading Card (ATC) Swap on Splitcoaststampers
Splitcoaststampers has been my go to for swaps for years.

For the ATC Swap, there are 4 categories.
They are Vintage, Disney, Shades of  1 Color, and Bugs/Insects.

So since my time tends to be limited, I decided to go ahead and get started.
Well we all know I am a major Disney fan, so of course that is the category I completed first!

So I present to you my 3 Artist Trading Cards for the Disney category.

They are titled "Up Fan Art", I made only 3.
In hindsight, I should have made a 4th for myself.
But it's okay, I am just happy that the picture in my mind, turned out the way I wanted them to.

I used nearly all Close to my Heart products for them.

The house and balloons are from the July Stamp of the Month "Highlight Reel"
When you purchase $50 in products you can purchase "Highlight Reel" for only $5!

(#1 of 3)

On White Daisy cardstock, the house is stamped in Toffee ink.
The balloons were stamped in Archival Black Ink

The balloons are masked to create varying amounts.
Then colored in with Copics.
I then used a Clear Shimmer Brush to give them some shine.

(#2 of 3)

The cliff, and waterfall were drawn with a pen.
Then colored with Copics.
I added Liquid Glass on top of the waterfall, to make the water really stand out.

(#3 of 3)

I used the Pen Pal alphabet set to stamp UP.
The UP is stamped on Lagoon cardstock, with Tuxedo Black Memento Ink
I then dovetailed the cardstock, then mounted it on dimensional tape.

I then used Pacifica Ink to distress the edges of the front of the card.
I mounted the card onto chipboard.

(Back of all Three Cards)

Then on the back, I mounted a piece of Sapphire cardstock
Then used a stamp I found while in Las Vegas, that is made specifically for ATCs.
I also distressed the information portion of the back with Pacifica Ink as well.
