Beach Layout Made with Cricut Design Space

Hope everyone has had a safe and enjoyable Memorial Day Weekend!

A few days ago, I took some time to cut and complete a Beach layout in Cricut Design Space.

Another artist in a file sharing group I am in, created the layout.
I went in and altered it slightly to fit the look I was going for.
So today I had the time to add my photos.
These are from Panama City Beach in Florida, from a couple years ago.

You will notice on the layout I do not have the date.
I have to go back and find the date on another layout and add it.
This layout is one of 6 layouts from that one day at the beach.
I added journaling on the first layout in the set, which is why there is not journaling on this one.

I did however add a Pocket Plus Memory Protectors to this one, because I had a few extra photos, I wanted to add, but didn't have the space on the two pages.

I use Pocket Plus Memory Protectors often in my scrapbooks.

Next week, I will have a tutorial on how to create shaker pockets in your albums using the We R Memory Keepers Fuse Tool.
I have found sequins and creating pockets, is my new love.

Transportation Challenge Over At Pile It On!

Lately things have been extremely busy, so I haven't had time to craft much.
I finally had some free time and was able to put together a quick layout for a few of my sons photos.
I made a 12 x 12 single page layout, so showcase two photos.

The theme is transportation,  so the construction trucks are perfect.

I used an older paper kit that included sticker, photo mats and the back ground paper from another scrapbooking company.
The cardstock background is Saffron from Close to my Heart.

I distressed the edges of the paper and cardstock with a retired shade of brown from Close to my Heart called Nutmeg.

I also entered my layout into the following challenges:

I hope you enjoyed my layout, please feel free to contact me with any questions you may have.

Journey Two Page Scrapbooking Layout

Happy Sunday!

Here is an adorable two page layout of my son, that I created for the Pile It On! Lots of Layers Challenge.

The two  12 x 12 base pages are Sweet Leaf cardstock by Close to my Heart.
I used the darker shade side of the cardstock.

The two strips along the side are from the So Much Happy Paper Packet.

The strip to the right, has the Sapphire Zip Strip still attached for an accent piece.

There is also a piece of Sapphire cardstock from Close to my Heart.
I used the darker shade see of the cardstock.

The Title for the layout is from the So Much Happy Picture My Life card pack.

The is one of the larger 6 x 4 sized cards.

The small green/blue circle is from the So Much Happy Complements pack.

I tried to keep the layout simple, so that the focus would really be on the photos and the message in my journaling.

I hope you enjoyed my layout!
I entered it into the following Challenges:
