Grow As We Go | A Sweet Double Page Layout for Twin Girl Memories

I recently created this 12 x 12 double page scrapbook layout using the March 2025 Kiwi Lane Club Kit featuring the beautiful Grow As We Go paper pack, and I already know it’s going to be the perfect home for photos of my twin girls. 💕

This layout has room for (1) 5 x 7 photo, (3) 4 x 6 photos, and (3) 4 x 4 photos, making it a great choice for capturing a collection of special moments all in one spread. I love how the design gives me plenty of space for photos while still leaving room for pretty patterned paper and a few simple embellishing details.

The Grow As You Go papers bring such a sweet and gentle feel to this layout. The soft florals, subtle patterns, and warm colors make it perfect for documenting family memories, childhood moments, and everyday snapshots you never want to forget.

To keep the layout balanced, I added a few simple circular elements across the pages. These little accents add just the right amount of softness and visual movement without taking away from the photos. I also included a beautiful sentiment piece that says, “Perhaps you were created for such a time as this.” That message feels especially fitting for a layout centered around my girls and the joy they bring to our family.

One of my favorite things about this double page spread is how it combines structure and sweetness. The mix of photo sizes creates interest, while the clean arrangement keeps the focus on the memories themselves. I can already picture this layout filled with photos of my twin girls, whether it’s everyday smiles, a special outing, or one of those little moments that I never want to forget.

A Music-Themed Double Page Layout for Band Concert Photos

 

Band Concert Memories | 12 x 12 Double Page Scrapbook Layout

There’s just something so special about school concert nights, the excitement, the nerves, the proud smiles, and of course all the music! 🎶💕 Today I’m sharing a 12 x 12 double page scrapbook layout that I created for my daughter’s band concert pictures, and I absolutely love how fun and cheerful it turned out.

For this layout, I used the Kiwi Lane Club Kit from February 2025, Move to Your Own Beat, which was the perfect choice for documenting a music-themed event. The bright colors, playful accents, and music-inspired embellishments made it so easy to create a layout that feels full of energy and happy memories.

A Layout Designed for Concert Memories

This double page spread includes space for five photos, which makes it a great option for capturing a variety of moments from concert night. I can already picture using it for:

• a full photo of my daughter with her instrument

• a picture of the band performing

• a candid backstage or waiting-to-begin photo

• a family photo after the concert

• and one extra favorite memory from the evening

I love that the design keeps the focus on the photos while still adding plenty of personality with the music-themed details.

Details I Love

One of my favorite things about this layout is the long horizontal band across the top of both pages. It helps tie the whole design together and creates a great foundation for the photo mats. The soft aqua background paired with the bright orange photo mats gives the page a fun, energetic feel without being overwhelming.

The little embellishment details from the Move to Your Own Beat kit are what really make this layout shine. I added:

• a cute “Love This” arrow accent

• a fun #Smile banner

• circular music-inspired embellishments

• and a few enamel dots for just the right finishing touch

Those small details bring in the concert theme in a playful way while still leaving plenty of room for the photos to tell the story.

Why This Layout Works So Well for Band Photos

I think this design is especially nice for concert pictures because it feels structured and balanced. Concert photos can sometimes be a mix of posed photos, stage shots, and quick candid moments, so having a clean row of photo mats across the top makes it easy to showcase them all in one place.

The bright colors and music accents also help the layout feel celebratory, which is exactly how I want these memories to feel when I look back on them later.

A Great Starting Point for School Music Memories

There’s something so special about a layout that feels both soft and meaningful, and this 12 x 12 double page spread came together with exactly that kind of heart. For this layout, I used the Kiwi Lane Club Kit from March 2025 to create a design that highlights treasured family memories while keeping the overall look simple, layered, and photo-friendly.

This layout includes space for (1) 5 x 7 photo, (2) 6 x 4 photos, and (1) 4 x 4 photo, making it a great option for documenting a family outing, a day at the park, a spring memory, or any moment you want to preserve with a warm and cozy feel.

One of my favorite things about this design is the way the horizontal bands of patterned paper help guide your eye across both pages while still giving each photo its own moment to shine. The floral paper adds a soft, cheerful touch, while the green and peach tones create a gentle, grounded color palette that feels fresh and inviting.

I also added a few simple circular elements to bring in movement and interest without overwhelming the page. Those circles help soften the straight lines of the photo mats and add a playful little detail that ties the whole spread together. On the left page, I included a small journaling circle, which is the perfect spot for a date, a short memory, or a little note about the photos. On the right page, the sentiment circle adds a sweet finishing touch and helps reinforce the family-centered feel of the layout.

Today I'm sharing a brand-new double-page 12" x 12" scrapbook sketch that's perfect for documenting birthday celebrations!

This layout features a balanced two-page design with plenty of room for your favorite birthday photos while still leaving space for beautiful embellishments and decorative paper layers. The sketch uses layered rectangles, background mats, and focal floral clusters to create visual interest without overwhelming your photos.
