Capturing the Princess Magic
The moment we stepped into the Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique, the excitement was palpable. My daughters were greeted by Fairy Godmothers-in-Training, who waved their magic wands and set the stage for a royal transformation. The boutique was a haven of glittering gowns, sparkling tiaras, and the sweet sound of Disney tunes filling the air.
A Royal Showcase
For this layout, I chose a soft pastel palette, echoing the delicate hues of the princess dresses. Here’s a breakdown of how I brought this magical moment to life on a single page:
Photo Selection: The centerpiece of the layout features three photos of my daughters in their princess dresses, each one beaming with joy. I selected images that best showcased their unique styles and personalities—Aurora, Belle, and Ariel. This layout showcases them outside after the makeover. However I have dozens of photos of them inside the boutique, during the makeover and after. This layout is just the first of many to come.
Background and Layers: I used white background paper with several soft patterns that fit the princess theme to evoke a fairytale atmosphere. The paper collection I used is "Enchanted Princess" from Creative Memories. If you have this collection, pull it out and play with all the fun and soft patterns.
Embellishments and Accents: Sparkling rhinestones, Rose shimmer paper Mickeys, and delicate torn and distressed flowers adorned the page, adding a touch of magic.
Journaling: I penned a heartfelt note about our day at the boutique. This personal touch made the layout even more meaningful.
Title and Quotes: I kept the title of the page simple, yet fitting, "Pretty as a Princess".
